As a gas-operated airsoft submachine gun, it fulfills its task on the field unrivaled, for example, in house combat scenarios. The body is made of fiberglass-reinforced polymer, and thus remains robust at a low weight. The PMX achieves precision and realism through an adjustable Shoot-up, a clearly noticeable blowback effect and authentic controls such as the ambidextrous fire selection and magazine release. For complete ambidextrous operability, the bolt lever is interchangeable.

A threaded barrel (M12x1) for tracer and silencer units, as well as a Picatinny quadrail with Combat grip already mounted and adjustable sights complete the package that makes the Beretta PMX the ideal CQB submachine gun.
