The M700 Series are a hunting rifle series developed since 1962, based on the same centerfire bolt action. It comes in a large number of variants in different stocks, barrel configurations, metal finishes and calibers.
M40 Sniper Rifle is a bolt-action sniper rifle used by US Marine Corps from Vietnam War and built from the famous M700 Military Version. It has had 4 variants – M40 which introduced in 1966, M40A1 in 1980, M40A3 in 2001 and M40A5 in 2009.
