Walther P38 was developed by Walther as the service pistol of the Nazi German Army (The Wehrmacht) at the beginning of the World War II. It was intended to replace the costly Luger P08 Pistol. It was renamed to P1 after the WWII and used by West German Army and German Army until replaced by P8 in 1990s.
