  4. Are Airsoft Guns legal?

Yes! Airsoft guns are legal in most countries without the need for a license, including the United States (except in a few States), England, France, Norway, Sweden, Argentina, Russia, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and many other places.

Some countries such as the United States requires that all imported airsoft guns have painted orange barrel tips. Other countries like England and France require nothing at all and airsoft guns can be imported in their original state.

*Note that on some airsoft guns, there is no flash hider, or it is not removable. In those instances, we will paint the tip orange. Removing the orange paint is possible with paint thinner but again, we do not encourage it for legal reasons.

  5. Is Airsoft legal in Canada / Australia / New Zealand / Germany / Singapore / Malaysia / Indonesia / Thailand ?

In Canada and Germany, only SEMI-AUTO guns are allowed and government approval or authorization are needed for importation. Even if modifying a full-auto gun into a semi-auto shooting gun, it will still be confiscated by the customs.

In Australia(South Australia, Northern Territory, Australian Capital Territory) / Indonesia and New Zealand, government permits or registrations are needed to import or own airsoft guns.

In Australia (Tasmania, Western Australia, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales) / Thailand / Malaysia and Singapore, airsoft guns are completely banned and no permits will be issued by the government.

*Some customers ask if we can ship guns to these countries/states in pieces and what is the chances of success.

Shipping in disassembled pieces using separate packages into Canada / Australia is possible, but we do not guarantee 100% success. If you decided to do so, we are happy to help. However if a seizure does occur, we cannot be held responsible for refunds or re-shipments. The risks are borne entirely by the customer.

These are for references only, confirm with your local law enforcement agencies if you have any concerns.

  6. Which countries or states consider airsoft as illegal?

Airsoft is considered illegal in countries such as Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany (only semi-auto airsoft guns are legal, full automatic airsoft guns are banned), Australia and certain states within the United States (e.g., New York City Metro (5 boroughs), Michigan, Washington DC).

We have, however, been successful in making deliveries to certain countries / cities / states where airsoft is considered illegal. Enforcement of this law varies from country to country, and state to state.

  7. Customs Issues

Airsoft is legal in most countries, including the US, UK and most other countries in Europe. Airsoft is legal in Canada but Canadian customs have chosen to prohibit importation through mail-order and as such, we do not guarantee any sort of gun shipments there. Parts and accessory shipments to Canada are acceptable.

Our airsoft guns are shipped in unaltered form to all countries where airsoft is legal. This means that the guns have all original trademarks (where they are engraved by the manufacturer) and no orange paint of any kind is applied.

However, if airsoft guns are imported to the United States, where laws require that airsoft guns are marked to indicate that they are not real weapons, we will follow the below requirements:

    1. The tip (1/4 inch) of the barrel must be permanently colored in blaze orange
    2. All trademarks that potentially infringe upon copyrights must be removed

If you are unsure about the copyright, you should check with your local authorities. We are not always able to verify whether the manufacturer have proper licences to use the trademarks.

Airsoft Tiger111hk complies automatically with these requirements for all orders delivered shipped to the USA. We cannot be held liable for seizures if you remove the orange paint or alter the guns by any method after purchased from us.

  8. Orange Flash Hiders on AEGs shipped to the USA and Italy

Airsoft Tiger111hk installs blaze orange flash hiders on guns shipped to the USA and Italy to comply with import regulations. We also ship the original black metal flash hider just in case the guns are used for theatrical purposes#. You can easily reinstall the original flash hider.

However there are some AEGs (including the MP5 SD series, the M1A1, PSG-1, the SG rifles) do not have a detachable flash hider. In these cases, the tip barrel is painted with orange paint instead.

We cannot be held liable for seizures if you remove the orange paint or alter the guns by any method after purchased from us.
Please note that this may be illegal in your country and we recommend comply with the law at all times.

#For customers who use the guns in theatrical, movie or television industry, the orange paint can be removed by domestic solvents. There are alternative methods to meet customs requirements as well, that may be less irreversible.

  9. What happens if my package(s) being seized by custom for any reason(s)?

There always are methods to appeal and resolve. In most cases, the gun(s) will either be released and delivered to the buyer, or returned to Airsoft Tiger111hk.
If seized by US customs, the customs office will issue you an notice and seek for your approval to return the seized parcel(s) to us. As long as you approved to send back to Airsoft Tiger111hk, we can handle partial refunds on a case by case basis.
Handling procedures differ by country and you will be instructed accordingly in the unfortunate event that a seizure occurs.

Please be advised that delivering to countries / states / cities where airsoft is illegal puts the risk strictly on the customer, and our money-back-guarantee-of-delivery DOES NOT apply for these destinations.
