| Yes, there is a set screw on the top of the bolt which can be loosened to allow a larger flat head screw to be adjusted within the nozzle of the bolt. Adjusting this changes the amount of gas flow through the nozzle and can change the fps from sub 1 joule to over 4 joules. -by **endon **an

| The PPS KAR98 is a clone of the original TANAKA rifle (simular but not compatible ot the G&G version).
There is setscrew (which functions as a lock screw) you can remove to access a large brass screw. This screw adjust the airflow through the bolt on firing. In the fully closed position the rifle will fire around 320 FPS/0.2g and fully opened it will fire 600 FPS/0.2g.
However it should be noted that the lower-fps settings produce large variations if FPS while the higher FPS setting does not. TLTR: The higher FPS setting is more consistent at the cost of a higher gas usage. -by **illy
