SVDS (Full name in Russian: Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova Skladnaya) is a compact variant of the SVD Rifle which designed in early 1990s for airborne infantry. It comes with a right-folded tubular metal stock (equipped with a shoulder pad and a fixed cheek rest, user cannot shoot when the stock was folded), pistol grip and a conical flash hider. It also has a night-capable variant names as SVDSN.
