MP7 Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) is new design with both light weight & performance integrated by Heckler & Koch (H&K) and chambered for the HK 4.6×30mm cartridge. A solution for combat troops, special units, staff personnel, vehicle crew, medical staff, logistic troops & military police. It used by German Army, GSG9, South Korea SWAT etc. It renamed to MP7A1 in 2003 for the following changes: smaller stock with 3 position retractable, redisgned pistol grip, standard side mount rail, redesigned folding sights and new trigger safety. It also have a semi-auto variant named MP7-SF which used by Ministry of Defence Police (MDP) in United Kingdom.
