The base installs by sliding onto the rail and is held securely by the screw/clamp assembly. Mounts are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a mil-spec type III, class II hard anodize.
Mount is designed so that it tucks the short rail section into the quadrail as closely as possible without causing clearance issues.
It can be mounted on any of the handguard rails - top, bottom, left or right.
