Walther PPQ (PolizeiPistole Quick Defense / Police Pistol Quick Defense) is a semi-automatic pistol developed by Carl Walther GmbH in Germany for law enforcement, security forces and civilian shooting market as a potential replacement for the P99 Pistol. It shares its engineering principles and main features with the P99QA (Quick Action), P99Q and P99 RAD (Licenced P99 produced in Poland for military).
PPQ M2 is the new PPQ Variant introduced at the 2013 Shot Show. It comes with a thumb release push button which replace the ambi magazine release lever appear on P99 and PPQ and is reversible for left-handed user.
